I have to do it now then don't I? ;) Am registering right now.. just trying to decide if I can improve my entry time :)

Yes.. knees lots better thanks, just thigh muscles and mental pain now ;)

jive AND ice skating! Your poor legs.. aren't you mean to let them recover, even from walking half the RTTB? I'm resting now until Saturday when I hope to be back at the gym (after celebratory curry on Friday night).

Hope the pain has gone, I couldn't walk too well yesterday, but did a jive class last night and ice skating this morning..still, I did walk at least half of the RTTB.....

Thank you so much! The blog actually kept me going and even on Sunday I was blogging in my head (think it's called 'the voices'!).

I wondered who reads my blogs as the ratings shot up in the last 2 weeks.

I'm so pleased I helped and it wasn't just self-pitying and self-motivational drivel I was writing.

Well done on completing it. Today I'm actually thinking about entering next year ;)

Will you do further runs? You've come this far! x

You can see me on the video finish no. 2332, had a dreadful finish, but a lovely hug at 9314, finishing by 8102.. gives you a clear picture of my struggle.

Just wanted to say that you should be very proud of yourself. Unfortunately I didn't actually make it to the start line but you can read all about that in my blog soon.

I did try and keep an eye out for you at the start/finish line to say hello but didn't spot you.

WEL DONE TO ALL OF US!!!!!! I cannot believe i completed it in just under 2 hours, WHAT AN ACHIEVEMENT. Especially with the horrible weather, but then again i dunno if anyone else thought this but i think i ran faster because of it. aha ah

The atmosphere was brilliant, thank you to all of my family and friends who supported us, it was fantastic!!!!

I will be running it again next year, so when i do i will make sure i have my name on my T-Shirt as it makes such a difference when people shout your name from the crowds. It motivates you to keep going. Instead i had people shouting go the girl with the TUTU on!!!! , which did make me laugh!!!! Thank you...aha aha

The music was a huge disappointment, but i wont go into it on here!!!! Just hope they arrange it better next year, and have music throughout the 13 miles!!!!

Thank you to the people who were giving out the drinks, much appreciated... It was great to see sooo many stops along the way to keep us hydrated!!!!

Oh and sorry to the bloke that was walking at the 12th mile, you were soooo close, just wanted you to keep going, just didn't want you giving up when you were sooo close!!!!

My knees are in agony today, but nothing a good physio cant fix!!!! Hopefully!!! BRING ON THE NEXT ONE!!!! xx

Thank you for your support. Please let me know how you did!

I havent read your other blogs but felt compelled to respond to this. Each time you head to the gym or the open road, you cant always achieve a personal best, you wont always do better than the time before and you might not even always enjoy it... thats fine.

If you have been doing well, you wont have suddenly lost it... (I started running 2 yrs ago and got the bug in a big way, have done 3 marathons and 3 1/2s. I have just done a marathon 2 weeks ago and was meant to be having a brk but I am now somehow running for my best mate!)

Never under estimate what the body can do, it is pretty damn amazing! My last marathon was tough, having done the same course last year in under 4hrs I had a lot to beat. At 16m my hamstring and hip went, I walked/ran for 10m.. there is a photo of me looking pretty miserable... but I knew it didnt matter about the time, I would still finish which is pretty bloody good. I hope you are feeling more positive, your legs will thank you for a bit of a rest. Good luck, see you in 4 days

I only have a couple of weeks and want to concentrate more, but I haven't vanished.

I did a quick 2.5 miles yesterday lunchtime, past the building site/hotel at 1 Westminster Bridge. Builder on scaffolding shouted at me to run! What did he think I was about to do?! Stand there oggling builders?!

Am just trying to fit in what I can with some kind of relaxation after and don't want to bore everyone. I will still be looking in.
