Great Britain Olympian Jo Jackson crossed the Run to the Beat finish line with a time of 01:45:46, which is the top 12 percent of competitors but she was walking not running.
It is the longest distance she has covered since breaking her own British record in the 20k walk at the Beijing Olympics in August and she really enjoyed having thousands of people around her.
"It was nice to be competing with loads of people. I’m not used to that," the 23-year-old said after finishing the race.
The rain didn't bother her either: "I quite like conditions like this. I’m used to racing in the rain. To me it was just like Beijing. It was raining then too.
"Race walking isn't a sport many are familiar with and I'm sure many competitors will be surprised with my time, showing them how fast a sport race walking is.
"When I train I listen to a really eclectic range of songs. The music definitely motivates you. It's a nice distraction on the way around."
Jo's top 10 training tracks are:
1. Butterflies and Hurricanes (Muse)
2. Don't Stop Me Now (Queen)
3. What I've Done (Linkin Park)
4. Beat It (Michael Jackson)
5. Float On (Modest Mouse)
6. The Bucket (Kings of Leon)
7. Eye of the Tiger (Survivor)
8. Numb/Encore (Jay Z & Linkin Park)
9. My Favourite Game (The Cardigans)
10. The Small Print (Muse)
